I bought these because I was looking for sturdy, warm, waterproof boots that aren't too big and heavy, that are supportive for hiking but also look nice and low-key for just wearing around town. When I forked over $190 I thought, "these better be good for that price." So far, I'd say they're worth it. I have high arches and these provide the support I like. The materials and craftsmanship seem to be top notch, and they're really comfortable right out of the box. The height is perfect: warm and supportive but not so high they limit flexibility. The leather is beautiful and I really like that they're not flashy and all techno-looking. Very happy with these and I bet they'll last a long time.
