Gore Men's Xenon 2.0 Bibtights Short+ (Black, Large) Review

I've ridden in countless bib shorts, and am keenly aware of the importance of goog shorts for riding. For full retail price, these are still a good value. They're perfect in every way. The fit is tight, without pinching or tugging, they provide great compression, which comes into play after hours riding. The pad is as good as it gets. Very dense, perhaps even hard, but don't move, and enhance the channel on my channelled saddles. They have decent reflective material, when your riding at dusk, or sunrise. The leg length is perfect, and they simply don't move. No sliding leg grippers, no picking the pad out of your a$$, and no need to rearrange your junk, at anypoint, even after 2 and 3 hour rides.
Back to the pad. This IS the BEST pad there is. Its available in other premium shorts, possibbly Craft and Capo's top end bibs. But the fit and stitching of Gore have been reliable for me for about 6-7 years as I move away from Pearl, LG, and Castelli bibs. The castellis fell apart, and the pad stitching irritated me, forcing me to return/replace two pair (out of 5) and Pearls are pretty good, but the pads are to thick and mushy (soft) for my preference.
If you ride three or more days a week for 2 or more hours per ride, you need to spend more on quality shorts. These are my new "go to" and I will purchase another two pairs soon.

Once upon a time, Adidas released an incredible line of Predator shoes. They were comfortable and offered great protection. Then came the Predator LZ. These were/are NOT the traditional Predator Power shoes. They're now competing directly with Nike's Control line (CTR). So I abandoned ship. I guess many others did as well because Adidas have since then released a new silo under the name Nitrocharge. They market these towards players referred to as "the Engine" blablabla. Bottom line, these are the Predators brought back from the dead! And I absolutely love them.

Pros:
- Good fit. Very true to size. I wear 9.5 and 9.5 fit like gloves. What a wonderful feeling :)
- Very comfortability. Good cushioning. Did not need breaking in as I wore them the first time during a competitive match, and did not get blisters after.
- Good protection. The material is nice and thick. These really are for the "Engine" of the team.
- Great synthetic material so you get a good feel of the ball.
- I (think I) can run better (not faster, cause that's just bs marketing) and make better cuts without discomfort. I can shoot better. The material does make a big difference. But then again, I'm coming from the Bomba Finale II with the very thin Nikeskin.

Cons:
- Not the lightest boots. Light enough though.

Adidas may still be trailing behind Nike, but they have won me back with these. As long as they don't mess it up again next year, I'll be back for more.

I bought a couple Silverbacks about six years ago and they are great. Put them on a roll a cot and it is a great night sleep or put a double fitted sheet over both and have a double bed in your tent. The Leafield valves allow quick inflation and deflation much better than the little air tubes on other brands of pad. 4 inches of foam inside make for a very comfortable pad. I slep on the roll a cot and Silverback for eighteen days on the Grand Canyon and consistantly got good nights sleep.

2013 Fiction Fable BMX Black Plague with Gold Review

I bought this for my son for his B-Day. It is a solid BMX. It has a 14mm rear axle, so keep that in mind if buyind pegs - the front are the standard 11mm.

The cost, as well as shipping, was more than reasonable, and there were no surprise charges (like with UPS). This dealer is top notch and highly recommended! When my son is ready to upgrade, I will be coming back for his next BMX!
