This is a confusing array of unlabeled waxes, filler compounds (I think), brushes and scraper thingys. No instructions included, so I guess I need to find some youtube videos or try to figure it out myself. I assume it will work great once I do figure it out. Wilson '13 Blade 93 Tennis Racquet-4 Review

I have been playing tennis for 9 years and am an NTRP 5.0 rated player. My previous main racquet was the K Blade Tour 93, which is two generations older. I did not upgrade to the BLX version (which is one generation older) because they oddly changed a lot of what made the K Blade so successful and great to use. However after demoing the Blade 93 (Current generation) when it came out, I had to get my hands on one! The ball striking is so much more plush and there is much more ball pocketing with this racquet. A lot less vibration and stiffness compared to my old K Blade Tour. Shots just feel easier to hit and it feels like you have so much more time to swing. Definitely check this racquet or its 98" counterpart if you are looking for a solid players racquet.

I love this coat! I like the material that's it's made from because it feels thick. No featers will be coming out all over my nice blouses! The material is treated so it's waterproof, and it's durable (I can feel that) and it's breathable. They say the waterproof polyurethane Hyvent coating keeps out melted snow and rain. I just wanted a nice, warm coat for the winter and the moment I put it on, I felt comfortable. I move in total confidence in the cold with this coat on (I'm warm baby). I like the way the inside lining is sewn (smaller boxes) and the 550 down fill. I know the down won't be shifting, sagging and coming out. I love the 2 top front pockets because they have zippers to fit my Ipod, etc. I like the two lower front pockets because they are nice and wide, they have zippers to keep my wallet and gloves safe. I like the material that's inside the sleeves, which keeps the cold out. They say (on the tag that tell you about the Hyvent capabilities) that it has exceptional breathability and assist in moisture management, AND in rigorous testing, Hyvent fabrics show exceptional durability and performance. I just know this coat is warm, well made and worth the price. The fur trim on the hood zips off and there's a toggle to make it more snug around your face. And the belt - I love the belt (you push one side and it opens); I like the shapely silhouette I have when I adjust and buckle it. I'm sure this jacket will perform to my liking. With the holidays coming up, the outings and shopping we're going to be doing - I know I'll be warm and toasty, running around (outside) in this coat. This is a nice, quality item. I'm very satisfied with it. Very Highly Recommended. Enjoy!

SportRack A21004S Frontier Roof Rack Review

This Rack was easier than I thought it would be. It comes with four locks so people cant take it off, which most other racks you have to get those extra. It also is removable which is great for when I am not using, just loosen the tension screw and off it comes. Very secure to my roof. Giro 2013 Mens Gauge HV Wide Mountain Bike Shoes (Black - 41) Review

Started biking longer distances recently and needed more support once I regularly was riding 20-40 miles. After weeks of research, I was unable to find a bike shoe to fit my feet- E width, high instep and wide ankle. I couldn't find inserts that worked well enough in running shoes, couldn't find tie-up MTB shoes for recreational pedals (what I really wanted.) I don't know why manufacturers don't make extra wide bike shoes- since the online forums and reviews are full of folks asking for them. People say buy Lake- but they can't be found in the US. No bike shops have the wide sizes to try, and the few called wide, like the SIDI were still too narrow for me. Custom shoes are crazy expensive for recreational riders.
I've heard Giro will be discontinuing the HV (which stands for "high volume") version- specifically made to accommodate either orthodics or wide feet. It took searching forever to find out about it, as there are almost no reviews online. I hope they keep it and GIRO IF YOU READ THIS PLEASE CONSIDER MAKING SOME OF THE NEW LACE UP MTB SHOES FOR EXTRA WIDE FEET! Those look awesome like regular walking shoes (not like these which are ugly like racers), but with carbonite support.

This shoe wasn't wide enough either- and cost a lot to start modifying, but I was out of other options. I added a loop (I used an elastic hair band) to extend each of the velcro straps and give me more height for my high instep. Since the shoes fits like a glove and the leather(?) is very soft, the width doesn't pinch and spillover on the sole doesn't matter on a bike shoe. You could also just remove the inserts and ride with very thin socks and gain extra width and height or room for a larger orthodic that way. Most people like the cinch closure at the ankle but I hate it because I have such a large ankle bone- and also because I'm not so young anymore and it requires bending to close. I'm using it on the loose setting, but may eventually remove it and poke holes for laces. So the shoe isn't perfect for me- but it's comfortable now. No hot spots. I'd give it 5 stars if it had an easier ankle closure and extra grip on the soles.

I didn't want cleats or clips. I was able to find pedals that have cleat attachments on one side and are flat on the other- so you can ride with any shoes. You won't be able to ride on flat recreational pedals with no grips without sliding. You wouldn't want to hike in these, or drive, but you can walk without looking like a duck.

I have all these issues, but if you're just looking for a super comfortable shoe for normal feet and you do want to clip in- buy them- they're nice, good shoes. The sizing is wacky- follow their chart and then size up. I wear a women's 9.5 E in New Balance, and I got these in mens 42 (no orthodic.) Also- note that the bottoms get chopped up pretty fast. They don't look great, but it doesn't affect performance.

Marmot Women's Tamarack Jacket, Deep Purple/Vibrant Purple, X-Large Review

I love Marmot jackets because of their "angel-wing" sleeves which give freedom of movement for active sports. This jacket is well-made and functional. The hood is helmet-compatible, important for skiing. The only feature that could be improved, in my opinion, is the width at the bottom of the sleeves. It is very difficult to fit ski gloves under the sleeves for a good seal against wind and cold. Although there is some elastic and velcro that allows some adjustment, the sleeves need to be wider to fit a good pair of gloves. Other than that, I love the jacket.
