I love this coat! I like the material that's it's made from because it feels thick. No featers will be coming out all over my nice blouses! The material is treated so it's waterproof, and it's durable (I can feel that) and it's breathable. They say the waterproof polyurethane Hyvent coating keeps out melted snow and rain. I just wanted a nice, warm coat for the winter and the moment I put it on, I felt comfortable. I move in total confidence in the cold with this coat on (I'm warm baby). I like the way the inside lining is sewn (smaller boxes) and the 550 down fill. I know the down won't be shifting, sagging and coming out. I love the 2 top front pockets because they have zippers to fit my Ipod, etc. I like the two lower front pockets because they are nice and wide, they have zippers to keep my wallet and gloves safe. I like the material that's inside the sleeves, which keeps the cold out. They say (on the tag that tell you about the Hyvent capabilities) that it has exceptional breathability and assist in moisture management, AND in rigorous testing, Hyvent fabrics show exceptional durability and performance. I just know this coat is warm, well made and worth the price. The fur trim on the hood zips off and there's a toggle to make it more snug around your face. And the belt - I love the belt (you push one side and it opens); I like the shapely silhouette I have when I adjust and buckle it. I'm sure this jacket will perform to my liking. With the holidays coming up, the outings and shopping we're going to be doing - I know I'll be warm and toasty, running around (outside) in this coat. This is a nice, quality item. I'm very satisfied with it. Very Highly Recommended. Enjoy!
