First, let me say I have read the negative reviews and understand the frustration... This one requires a little modification before you head to the lake; you'll have to cut out the holes for your gauges, switches, stereo, etc. It comes as an injection-molded plastic form, with an upholstery-covered front piece to cover the hole where you do all of your wiring, etc. For the price, it can't be beat. Plus it has the added benefit of being plastic so you'll never have to worry about it rotting like most of the other plywood furniture on pontoon boats. My suggestion is to get yourself a good hole-saw or Dremel tool before you get ready to install, and remember the old carpenters' saying: measure twice, cut once! You can't fix it once you cut the hole too big!
