the fuel band is cool and trendy, the digital display is very unique and well done (looks like black rubber, but then lights up!) - love the concept of tracking motion and activity, but find this device is limited in what it can figure out - you get little credit for biking (unless you strap it to your shoe) and it under estimates how hard you are working when swimming since it's not looking at pulse - it's also inconsistent from person to person - my dad and i went on a 15 mile bike ride and we have similar height/weight - his registered 1200 points while i earned about 600 points for the same side/side bike ride - my wife's band went on the fritz (screen died) after about 8 weeks - on mine the latch that hold it on wore out after 2 months and now comes apart every hour - the website is pretty good, but was originally missing the key features of being able to share your results with friends (had to have a facebook account - which i don't) - i think they now added that, but i haven't tried yet - i'll try again when they come out with a gen2 that's a little more sophisticated
