The heart of this light weight endurance styled saddle is the same sturdy wood and steel tree that is in the rest of the Kimberley models. The saddle is made of a woven synthetic material, with synthetic suede seat, poleys, and wear patches for extra grip. Nubuck trim on the back of the cantle. No overgirth is needed, as the saddle has double billets and girths with a dressage style girth. Easy to care for, easy to ride! Comes supplied with nylon leathers, neoprene girth, and light weight polymer stirrups with rubber grip tread. Colors: Black or Brown, Seat Sizes: 16, 17, 18, & 19 inch. It's not only so aesthetically designed, it is a true "Pleasure Riding" saddle....extremely comfortable! (Well, at least, for me. I'm advised that it is not a good fit for my mare, and that is...)

So very disappointing for me...(believe me, I'm really depressed about this...), the saddle seems not to be a good fit for my "sailfish-withered" horse. She's my dear "old gray mare" (22 yrs young) and becoming sway-backed, so, as it happens, my fantastic saddle didn't work for her. I will need to send it back, either to be adjusted, replaced, or refunded.

Alas...since all of the folks in the stable insisted that "your Australian saddle is WRONG for your horse!" And... "If you care about her comfort, don't use it!" ....At this point, I'm not sure what the solution would be. However, I know this: I would recommended Australian saddles to anyone in possession of a horse with average top-line proportions, muscle mass, and wither construction.

Oh! and also...it would have been prudent for me to send a "withers tracing" with my original order. I just jumped the gun a bit in my zeal to own and use such a phenomenally-constructed saddle.
