Wilson Staff Mens Di11 Distance Irons #4 - Pw True Temper Steel Review

When I received these irons I was disappointed. The original description showed these irons with Wilson's "wide-tip" steel shafts. However, these irons have a conventional True Temper uniflex shaft. I contacted Wilson Golf USA and was told that certain Di-11 sets were built with the conventional shafts with a weight of about 115 grams, heaver than the wide tip shaft.
But these irons, at least to my eye, looked much better with the conventional shaft -- a very attractive package indeed.
Then I took them to course. No "wow" factor but these irons went straight with a high trajectory. The forgiveness and accuracy were more impressive than the distance. The more I play these irons the more I like them. The sound at impact is pleasant and there's no unwanted vibration. They're a great fit for a mid or high-handicapper.
And my playing partners have commented on their good looks.
At this price, it's a solid bargain for a solid set of game-improvement irons.
Wilson Staff produces some quality sticks and the Di-11s are no exception.
