This gun is a beast. It is extremely powerful and accurate. At 50 yards it still shoots straight so you don't need to hold over. Will blow a hole through 1.5" oak wood within multiple shots (20ish). This isn't what you'd consider a neighborhood friendly gun since it is loud, strong and shoots for long distances. It practically is a regular .22LR. The only down side to this gun is that it is fairly heavy which makes it hard to shoot free hand and there is a stronger kickback that is not like most air rifles. Some people may have a problem at first breaking the barrel but its not that hard. The thumbhole stock makes shooting more comfortable and accurate. If you want to euthanize pests like squirrels, opossums, raccoons, groundhogs, rabbits etc, this gun will have no problem as long as you are in the right game seasons for some of the animals that were listed.
