I bought these sunglasses last Spring for everyday and active bicycling use. At first I was very impressed by the high-quality of build, materials and design of these glasses. They were light-weight and fit well on my face (the nose-pads are made of hard plastic; I would've preferred a soft rubber material to prevent the glasses from slipping down my nose during prolonged wear).

However, after a few days of wear, I noticed a lot of light was being reflected off the inside part of the lens to my eyes, creating distracting glare. I don't know if it's because the inside of the lenses are coated with a very shiny blue foil material, or because the lenses are very curved and therefore focus reflections to the eyes; either way the design of the glasses create glare that make it annoying for everyday use, and unsafe for bicycling. The glare is worse when the sun or a light source is overhead.

I've wore these glasses on and off for a few months before finally buying the Oakley Crosshair 2.0 Polarized. The Crosshair is heavier than the RB 8306, but the weight is well-distributed on my face and I actually like the fit better than these Ray-Bans. Better yet, the Crosshair has rubberized nose-pads,and most importantly no distracting glare off the inside of the lens.

Sunglasses are suppose to improve your sight. Unfortunately the Ray-Ban 8306, with its lens design, created distracting glare that hinders vision and defeats the purpose of wearing sunglasses in the first place. Therefore I would not recommend these sunglasses.
