I bought my son a Bloodline two seasons ago. We only live a two hour drive from the factory, so we actually went to Nocona, Texas and bought the glove.I do love Nokona. They are the only significant glove maker that still makes them right here in the U.S. Even the very top of the line gloves from Rawlings are made in Asia.
Now, one explanation...my son plays a lot of baseball. Between Spring and Fall select teams he plays over 150 games per year.
Now that he has played with the Bloodline for two years, I will not hesitate to buy him a Nokona for his next glove, but it will not be a Bloodline. The same thing that makes a Bloodline so easy to break in and so playable is what makes it less than rigid when it is a year old.
His next glove will be an American Legend or a Pro-Line. Both are made with Sandstone leather which is much stiffer than Bloodline, Kangaroo, or Buffalo. It will take a while to break in, but it will last years longer.
