When I set this bow up, I could already see problems with it. It's not very secure looking, and with the tension I was afraid that the ends would fly off after a few uses. The arrows are very cheap, the case is horrible and bad fitting, everything about this bow was screaming return. Well, I went ahead and built the bow up and when it came to the stringing, the poorly written instructions told me it is highly recommended to use this bow stringer. I've strung bows before, and I've always wrapped the leg to do it, but with the design of this bow I thought it may be needed to use this stringer. Bad mistake. One of the leather ends of the stringer broke off, causing the bow to hit me in the face. Not only did it break my expensive designer glasses, it left a very nasty gash above my brow. After a few stitches, and a few hundred more dollars to replace my glasses, I strung the bow how I felt it should have, and it came out fine.I took it out yesterday to shoot a few times, and I noticed that the blades were a bit wobbly feeling, and the string looked to be unraveling, so I decided to break the bow down, pack it up, and send it back. This whole episode has really made me rethink of even buying stuff like this online anymore.
Thanks for the lovely scar, Martin!
