I was really tired of hauling around a thick 70m rope for multi-pitch routes. This rope works great, its very light and strong. Im am only using it when moving fast, and climbing with a strong partner. Do not want to add wear to it by having people hang on it for a while. The different halfway patterns make it so much easier to find the middle of the rope. My older rope had the middle marker wear off so now i can barley see it, and my partners rope doesn't even have a middle marker, so this is a great improvement when rappelling.*Iv been climbing at the gunks, and the Delaware water gap, so the rock is not very coarse.
