I was skeptical when I had an issue with this rod on a fishing trip. To make a long story short, my rod broke for an unknown reason (could have been anything). I was fairly upset that I would be out my good 5 weight rod the whole trip, when I told TFO about it they said to mail the rod back and they would take care of me. I'm glad to have done business with a company that takes pride in making sure their customers get the quality they expect from a top name brand. I would recommend TFO to a friend based on the performance of the rod. It is a dream to cast. My only recommendation is to buy 2 if you can. It's always good to have a backup with today's lighter more fragile rods. Also, be sure to register your rod when you purchase it.
