The knife is amazing. I bought it as a general all around hiker/backpacking knife. I had to give it a 5 because it's so great although there is a few tiny things. But the pros are STRENGTH ! I literally used it to pry open a stuck window to see if it truly stood up as promised. The blade is designed for it. It hacks limbs off trees, notches ,splits, hammers , whatever you need. Even though I shined the blade up after 2 weeks of hacking and smashing there was not a remote sign of it being any duller than I received it. The few slight cons. It has a 30 degree grind, much like a axe. So although it will shear off trees and hack through anything it won't cut very well. You could put a sharper angle on it but the way the blade is shaped it would be extremely hard. Carry a small folder for your fine cutting needs and leave this blade indestructible.
