I have an older model and have used it very little. I recently took it back out of the box after buying two different boat mounts and a cover for it and found that the lid had heavy rust spots on it that wouldn't polish off. I thought that marine stainless steel wasn't supposed to rust. I called the factory and all they could offer was the recommendation that I buy their cleaner (with no guaranty that it would work) or buy a new one - not what I would call very good solutions. It works but looks bad - a poor advertisement for all who ask me about the grille.
