I love to backpack. I love everything about it - except rain and the nights. Pack a heavy mattrass and be sort of comfoatable. Pack a light one and toss and turn all night and wake up more sore and tired than when you bedded down. Not with this thing! This thing is so light and so comfortable and warm - it's a dream. Is it expensive? Yep. Is it worth it? Oh ya. Use it only on protected surfaces - like the floor of your tent. The only problem is when my wife comes along for the trip, she takes it. I geuss I'll have to buy her one too.
