All you have to do is go to any senior softball park and look at the bats in the rack. Miken Ultra II is the most popular bat in the game. It is not eligible for leagues other than senior softball because it is so good at making the ball pop off the bat. That extra ball speed makes for a more dangerous hit. So the bats are restricted to just old guys. I have and still own 6 or 8 models of Miken bats and the Ultra II is the best model for most batters. In 10 years I have had one bat crack. I still use it for swinging practice. If you like an end loaded bat, check out the other models. But don't buy this crap about no warrenty. If you are worried about breaking your bat, buy an old 50oz aluminum bat and hope you get the ball out of the infield. If you want to be competitive and can afford the best, buy the Ultra II. If I was to bet, I would say those with negative posts are shills for the competing manufacturers. I have no connection with Miken other than liking to use products that help us old men hit the ball farther.
