All's well that ends well - THE STORY : got the bike and the packaging/box was completely smashed and torn open (had been partialy re-taped by fedX), so I opened it up right away and to my supprize there was not a scratch on it.

So if you'r worried about shipping, don't be, as the contents are well protected indside. The handlebars, frame, and much of the bike is wrapped in bubble wrap and cardboard.

I put it together with the tools included in about 15 minutes - did I say a handy little bike tool was included - it's a chineese piece of crap tool, but hey it works

Very nice looking bike and does not seam to be as heavy as those tanks in walmart and/or the sporting goods super store. Also the chrome bike fenders have a flared extension with a decal on them - really looks nice, kinda "old school"

I paid $148 with free shipping - got the bike on my doorstep in two days

I am getting quite fond of Amazon.com
