Arrival time was exactly what they anticipated, with no damage. I needed a shell that will keep out the heavy rain and winds of the Canadian West Coast. Ability to be worn through all seasons and must be small and light to not impose while hiking is essential while working in the temperate forests and mountains. This jacket has proven itself worthy of my expectations which is not an easy thing to do. The only draw-back I would say is the lack of compartments, only 2 main pockets. The fitting could be a bit better, I find loads of room in the stomach area, as if the cut was for heavier set men (I'm no stick figure myself and it's still too bulky).
My days are about 12 hrs long and conditions though out that time are of all seasons in one. I may be sun and t-shirts to start the day then forced to throw on a jacket, gloves, and toque to end the day. This jacket has been an excellent addition so far.
