Was going to get a similar pack for much less but in the end I got this one and also ordered that similar bag. What a difference...WOW!! Heavier construction with much more attention to detail. If your looking for packs of this type then save yourself a lot of grief and just get this one. This one they really thought about a lot of scenarios while they were putting it together. The extra protection of the bottom on the outside of the gun sleeve. This protects the bag and thus the items inside from outside abrasion, none of the other similar bags even consider this, and that's just one of many, many extras. Well it would be extras on other bags but this is standard on this pack. Sewn webbing is uniform and heavy stitched, adding additional bags is easy and plentiful. Your biggest problem will be deciding on the color. One last note some of the pics show the olive green model to look kind of bright almost fluorescent...but its not; its a perfect drab olive green (universal). All the other attachments from different companies that I ordered matched color perfect. If you end up going ahead and getting the gun butt cover you may need to go to the Eberlestock website to get the cover in the color you want; all I could find on Amazon was one type of camo (western slope). In the gun slot I keep my Henry AR7 .22 rifle and my shotgun (basic Mossberg w/ some extra stock additions. Attached left side is shotgun sleeve that I use to hold my Diablo break down recurve bow and a waterproof box with the bow attachments. Right side is attached is a Fiskar 23" axe and my Gerber machette. Top is attached padded bag that holds my binoculars and is mounted in such a way that I can get them out with the pack on over my left shoulder and still allows me to pull my shotgun quickly out from the right. Sleeping bag & tent cinch up just under the main pack and up against the extended gun sleeve. Finally another bag (small) attached to the back of the pack that is just medical supplies.
