I've been playing ice hockey my whole life and I purchased these skates for public skating purposes since I am a goalie. Aesthetically, the skates are really nice. Pricewise, the skates are really nice. Comfort-wise, the skates are really nice. There's really no reason to spend anymore than $100 on skates unless you play hockey for a living or at a college-level. Great skates.
