I have no idea why I ordered this rope in black, but after a couple of trips I'm now starting to speak less, wear more black clothing, stay up late at night, think about wearing a sword, and wonder if I could use this to break in to buildings.

Seriously though: good rope. The extra 20 meters doesn't sound like much until you flake it out at the crag, and then the rope suddenly seems impossibly long. One of the leaders in our group got to the top of a moderately long climb, yelled down, "How much rope do I have left?", and his belayer yelled back, "Uhm, all of it?" Our climbers were constantly amazed at how much rope they had on various climbs. I was a little less enthusiastic about the amount of rope when it came time to coil it at the end of a long day -- everybody else got tired of waiting for me and left.

You could probably use this to belay from the bottom on White Lightning in Joshua Tree.

It handles nicely. Haven't taken a huge lead fall on it yet but it seems pretty soft so far.

The only downside: it's about as heavy as you'd expect 80 meters of 10.1 mm to be. If weight is really important to you, you're probably not going to enjoy it very much.
