This my first backstop / soft toss net type purchase. It is 8x8 which is a really big net. I honestly didn't think about how big it was when I bought it. When I set it up in my living room I found out. I love it though. The net itself is a really great quality. I didn't get instructions with it but just by looking at the picture I had it together in no time. It breakes down into a small duffle bag and it takes less than 5 minutes to put up. It snaps together. Nothing to it, really. It took about 2 minutes to break it down the first time. I was pleasantly surprised. I expected it to be harder and when I didn't get instructions I figured that was an omen. I was wrong. It works great for soft toss and as a backstop for my daughter pitching. I don't have anything else to compare it to but it is a quality product in my eyes. It comes with a single stake to anchor it down but it;s so big that I don't need it. The price was right too compared to other nets. Just a heads up... if you search google products for this net you just might find it for less than $170 like I did.
