The Deep Blue Pro Tac 1000 Meter Dive Watch, has a Sapphire Crystal and Super-Luminous Filled Hands and Dial Markings. Deep Blue Men's PTDVRGREEN 1000m Diver Watch Review

This a great watch for the money. I decided to try this watch on a recent dive to Jenny Springs, Florida. This is a wonderful spring fed cave system so down times are long and often deep. With a rated dive depth of 1000 meters I thought this would be a good test for the Deep Blue PTDVR watch. After 35 minutes at a depth averaging 80 feet (At this point I should note that I am a certified cave diver and a NAUI Master Diver. Please always dive within your current certification.) this watch proved to be everything that Deep Blue claims it to be. I would put this watch right up there with my Victorinox Black Ice 500 meter Pro Diver or the Luminox 500 meter automatic Dive Master watches. I also have last years Deep Blue Pro Diver with the tangerine face also rated to a 1000 meters and I have never had a problem with either of these watches on deep prolonged dives. The bezel is tight and stays in place when set. I am very pleased with the super luminous hourly markers and hands which remain bright enough to be seen during the night. The band is attractive and comfortable on the wrist. The band may seem a bit long to some but this can be "fixed" by simply trimming the end off a little. The green face gives this watch a distinctive appearance that looks great as a casual wear watch or for everyday use. The time piece has been very accurate over the last two months. So basically, I have to give this watch a perfect five star rating.
