This product is easy to install, uses little current and is very bright. Be sure to have the lights positioned straight down (underneath the boat) if you want the beautiful lighting effect as seen on the Attwood web site. First time I mounted on transom and wasn't satisfactory looking directly into the LEDs from back of the boat. I bought 2 and will probably end up with 4 - not because they are not bright enough, but you want the light to be proportioned across the entire stern underneath. My boat is 24feet long and the lights mounted underneath 6 inches from stern. In this position, half the length of the boat is illuminated underneath as well as stern (white hull underneath).
