I've always been either a Les Paul or Leo Fender guitar and Bass fan but this jerk I know kept rambling on about the Schecter C4 and man, let me tell you, the jerk was right! Never have I seen a better built Bass in my life. The neck is secured with six, count them, 6 bolts and once in tune, it never goes out (unless you do try to pound nails with it but, even then, I believe it would stay in tune). The finish is takes second to nothing I've ever seen or owned and the weight and balance is impeccable. I would suggest that you get a wide strap to carry the weight of the Bass (no heavier that any other Bass) so you can play longer at a better comfort range. As for the jerk that told me about Schecter, you were right on. It is the best. Thank you, you jerk : )
