I've never had a cycling trainer before so maybe I don't know what I'm missing with higher priced models but I'm very happy with this trainer.

The resistance mechanism clamps down onto your rim with rubber rollers that remind me of "roller-blade wheels" so there's no danger of damaging the rim in any way (also no tire wear).

What more could I ask for?

I left this review because I had been hesitating buying this product for over a year because I wasn't sure if I'd be happy - but I am.

REDLINE still rocks, I don't know what I was worried about ^_^
