Lowest chinese quality results in a very slow bike. Frame is twisted to front and rear wheels do not track on the same line. The wheel, crankset, and headset bearings were all severely overtightened and damaged as delivered. The chainwheel is out of round and being a single speed this resulted in the chain having to be so loose as to nearly fall off so as not to be so tight that the bike could not be pedaled. This is a below-Walmart-quality bike and not in anyway representative of what Takara used to be. Buyer beware.

With Giro's Mele Triathlon Shoes, you receive the ideal blend between comfort and power -- easier said than done. To achieve this golden ratio, Giro engineered the Mele Triathlon shoes to ride the line between comfort and rigidity. As you've probably experienced, triathlon shoes tend to lean towards one polar extreme or the other. In our experience, we find that most manufacturers develop the outsole as stiff as possible, only to later compensate with the upper design. However, through its partnership with Easton in the development of the Mele's EC70 carbon fiber outsole, Giro was able to integrate both properties, seamlessly. The EC70 outsole features a low stack-height that dramatically reduces weight, while still retaining an impressive level of stiffness. But, if the sole is too stiff, your feet are going to suffer on the running leg of the course. That's where EC70's fiberglass composite comes in. This element of the construction permits just enough flex over the arch to maintain a consistent level of blood flow. Even further along the lines of comfort, Giro and Easton designed the transition point between the outsole and the upper to allow 'spill over.' Instead of wrapping up the corners of the carbon, the Mele greets the ball of the foot with the upper. Giro 2013 Men's Mele Triathlon Cycling Shoes (Chrome/White - 39.5) Review

The Giro Mele tri shoes perform as you'd hope to expect. I've had a couple of triathlons with them now and and I am very satisfied with the shoe. Some key points.

Comes with 3 levels of arch support inserts. I use a medium for my left and max for the right.

The loop in the back is great. Very easy to grab hold of.

The large strap is long and also easy to grab hold of. Some times the end of the strap goes over the velcro of the shoe and the extra flap catches on my crank, which can be annoying.

The inside of the shoe gets dirty fairly quickly but I didn't buy to look pretty.

With a bit of bodyglide, I never wear socks with these and its very comfortable.

5/5 Would buy again.

The Warrior fixed blade is one of the world’s most intriguing combat knives. Based largely on the groundbreaking research of close-combat icon Michael Echanis, the original Warrior was a radical design intended primarily for use with reverse-grip tactics inspired by the Korean martial art of HwaRangDo. Spyderco has out done themselves with this battleblade that has DNA strands to the proud linage of the Warrior line of knifes by Al Mar, Round Eye Knife and Tool (REKAT) and others. This reverse-grip fighting knife is designed to be employed by practitioners of the Korean martial art of Hwa Rang Do. The original knife was developed and designed by Bob Taylor, Randy Wanner and Michael Echanis, inspiring Guy Rafaeli with Spyderco to release their expression of the Warrior.

Spyderco maintained all the salient points of the original Warrior design in their updated expression of this battleblade while maintaining its Spyderco heritage with the trademark "opening" round hole. Another interesting aspect of this blade is the use of H-1 steel which is very similar to the properties used in the manufacture of Samurai swords. This steel gives the Warrior extreme cutting power and shock resistance, while allowing the blade to be sharpened easily and keeping the overall weight of the knife down.

Additionally this comes with a tactical sheath made specifically for military and/or para-military employment. From reading various forums Spyderco opted for this type of sheath to cater to this primary audience the knife was marketed for.

I own an original Al Mar Warrior and REKAT Hobbit and the Spyderco Warrior. And if I had to pick one of the three it would be the Spyderco Warrior. Reviewing: Android Men's AD554BR Powerjet 9100 Automatic Power Reserve Watch

This Android Men's AD554BR Powerjet 9100 Automatic watch is, for the most part, well made. I come from a tradition of collecting medium-to-high-end Swiss Made, German Made, and Italian Made watches. For me, this Android is the first Japanese movement and first watch assembled outside of Europe (it's assembled in Hong Kong as I understand it) to appear in my collection. Overall, the watch scores points for its tank-like build and high degree of water resistance. I wanted just such a watch for "everyday life" that I did not wish to subject to my watches worth $10K or more. This Android fits the bill of a "workhorse" for me. It kept accurate of time to +/- 1.0 second per 24 hours when it was brand new, and it only seems to be getting better the more I break it in and use it! It's approaching +/- 1.0 second per week. Wow ... love it! The Japanese-made Miyota 9100 is a highly-respected movement, and is the engine for this Android AD554BR Powerjet 9100 Automatic. The watch is truly well-built, and I recommend it on this "build" basis and the movement without hesitation or reservation.

One area where I feel that the engineering is sub-par is the crown and crown post. When the screw-down crown is unscrewed, the oversized crown is a monster sitting on a small, rather thin and unstable "feeling" crown post. I would have liked the crown post to have been thicker and more stabilised, with a metal crown topped on the post with authority and substantial build quality. If you are careful, however, I am sure that the crown and post will serve you well for many, many years to-come. I wish this model came with the tritium T100-based tubes for nocturnal illumination. The Superlumniova (SLN) will have to do for now. All of my tactical/militarised watches with tritium light sources from mb-microtec absolutely rock, and I kind of think of this Powerject 9100 as a "sort-of" militarised watch given its heft, although the shiny metal removes "stealth" from the checklist of tactical load-outs and going dark in a deep-cover direct-action operator role. That's why God made Tawatec and Lumi-Nox for me.

IN SUMMARY, what a nice watch! 4/5 stars! Highly recommended.
