All you have to do is go to any senior softball park and look at the bats in the rack. Miken Ultra II is the most popular bat in the game. It is not eligible for leagues other than senior softball because it is so good at making the ball pop off the bat. That extra ball speed makes for a more dangerous hit. So the bats are restricted to just old guys. I have and still own 6 or 8 models of Miken bats and the Ultra II is the best model for most batters. In 10 years I have had one bat crack. I still use it for swinging practice. If you like an end loaded bat, check out the other models. But don't buy this crap about no warrenty. If you are worried about breaking your bat, buy an old 50oz aluminum bat and hope you get the ball out of the infield. If you want to be competitive and can afford the best, buy the Ultra II. If I was to bet, I would say those with negative posts are shills for the competing manufacturers. C1 Women's 700c Comfort Hybrid Bicycle Shimano 21 Speed Review

Bought this bike for my daughter who is about 4'9, and just barely big enough for
a full-sized bike.

The bike arrived in good condition (despite what the box looked like).

I had no problem putting the bike together (I have assembled a few).

When I gave it a test-run it shifted well, and the brakes worked good.
(had to adjust the brakes a little).

A few minor things to note:
-The quill-stem is a bit long to me, but with it all the way down and a tweak on the angle adjustment
seems to work for her reach.

-The shifters are kinda big and funky (but not too big for the bike). The rear is indexed and has
a big dial so even with my bad eyes, I can see what gear I'm in(big). The front shifter is indexed,
but has a +/- adjustment only(funky). Plus side is that you can trim the front to get rid of any chain
noise if your in an extreme rear-gear. (will be a small learning curve for my daughter).

-The water bottle lugs on the frame were not seated good, when I backed out the bolts the lugs would
spin. (with a women's bike with this kind of frame...I've never seen a decent water bottle
holder or bottle for that matter to be functional...so I'll probably look for something aftermarket).

We've gone on few small rides and both my wife (5'4) and daughter rode it and found it to be comfortable, smooth
and the 700C wheels gave them a good roll.

For the price, it's a good starter bike. If you want something a little more serious, go to a LBS..but you're going
to pay significantly more.

I bought an older model of this jacket almost ten years ago and it lasted that long with over 200 days on the mountain. It kept me warm with thin layering in -30 degree weather and served as my best friend in Rainy northwest ski conditions (not to mention everyday in Seattle). I decided to replace it finally and this jacket is perfect, with one nitpicky exception. The hood doesn't zip off like my old one did. Otherwise it is just as good, if not better in every way. I might add that the music pocket is a huge upgrade, allowing me to use my Android in it without ever removing it from the jacket. Bonfire makes truly incredible gear...if you are considering one of their jackets, I say go for it.

A 300 + dollar ruck for 85 bucks, I thought it would look like it walked back here from Afghanistan but it is in mint condition and is outstanding. I love the load bearing capabilities aas well as the customizeable carry adjustability of the straps and belt. I am very pleased. It is perfect for 3 + day outings , not great for short day type jaunts but still, I LOVE IT.

Phoenix 98900 Power Rower Review

We were looking for a reasonably priced rowing machine and the MR 900 was one of the few reviewed. It has a tension adjustment knob at the base, so that you can increase your workout. The seat slides easily and the handlebar pulls back fine. As a smaller woman, I find the footpedal position a bit awkward and despite the velcro strip, I can't quite get the right fit. The other review that I saw for this machine also mentioned that the footpads were not as well placed as they might be. Phoenix could really improve their machine by allowing some adjustment in height and better width grip on this feature. The display is fine, but the calorie count seems off--either that or I'm just not working as hard as I think I am. I don't think it accounts for the quickness with which you pull or your body weight and might just be taking into account the tension, time, and number of pulls. Overall, I'm really pleased. My stomach, legs, and arms get a nice workout. I guess the trick is to emphasize using your back with your stomach and legs vs. forearms, which I am still trying to get used to. If you are concerned with noise, the seat motion causes no noise, but the air on the pull definitely does. If you've got an iPod or mp3 player it won't matter, though.

I have a few of the other 0560/61 knives so when they made one with the black blade, I had to add it to my collection. This knife is extremely sharp out of the box. It has a good balance and heft to it. The opening mechanism is very smooth. It had a good grip and with the titanium in the handle, it does seems lighter than it looks. A great knife and one I am proud to have in my collection.

XMark FID Flat Incline Decline Weight Bench with Arm Curl and Leg Developer XM-4418 Review

I've been looking at all the FID benches out there and finally settled on this one.
Building it took about an hour, but you'll need your own socket set to build it well.
Only issue with the construction is the lower back pad does scrape the underside bars, but after a minor reposition it was easily remedied.
I chose this over the XM-4417, because I wanted a full decline and independently adjustable seat.
First impressions are it's solid construction, and the leg/preacher curl operates smoothly.
Padding on the seat, back and preacher are top class.
Will post updates if anything changes after more extensive use.
