Huffy Disney Princess Girls' Bike (16-Inch Wheels) Review

I bought this bike for my daughter's 4th birthday. She loves Disney Princesses, and pink is her favorite color. I guess this is typical for most girls her age, so my guess is that if your daughter is like mine, she, too, will LOVE this bike. It is covered in Disney Princesses, sparkly jewels, and flower decals. The giant pink things in the wheel spokes are sparkly pink gems ( it's hard to tell that from the picture.)

My husband put it together with just a few tools, and it seemed to go together fairly easily. I guess it took about 1/2 an hour, and I had to help a bit with holding things while he tightened them. The directions were a bit wordy, I prefer ones that show more pictures, and have fewer words. And the instruction booklet has several different styles of bikes listed, with various differences in accessories and parts. So you need to read through to find the correct style/model for this bike. But once you have it put together, your little girl's dreams of a big girl bike will come true!

It is very sturdy, and solidly built. I'm sure it will still be looking good long after she outgrows this size bike. The tassels on the handle bars might not last that long, as it seems they break off fairly easily.

My bike came from FogDog, which I have never heard of. It was delivered quickly, and with no problems. So I have no qualms about ordering from this company again. They also had free shipping, and no taxes, so I paid the price listed, and nothing more. It arrives in a box which is covered in Princesses and shows the bike, so if it is to be a surprise, you may want to be aware of this.

So, in conclusion, I give this bike 5++ stars, and 5 stars to FogDog, with 3 1/2 stars for the assembly directions ( for 5 stars they need to have instructions written for this specific model, without all the different models included. )

I was really tired of hauling around a thick 70m rope for multi-pitch routes. This rope works great, its very light and strong. Im am only using it when moving fast, and climbing with a strong partner. Do not want to add wear to it by having people hang on it for a while. The different halfway patterns make it so much easier to find the middle of the rope. My older rope had the middle marker wear off so now i can barley see it, and my partners rope doesn't even have a middle marker, so this is a great improvement when rappelling.

*Iv been climbing at the gunks, and the Delaware water gap, so the rock is not very coarse.

Tica UGSA12XH2C Surf Casting Fishing Rod (X-Heavy, 12-Feet, 2-Piece, 20-50 Pound) Review

This will never be my "go to" rod. It is definitely not a casting dream. First, for a graphite rod it is heavy and thick. The butt is a larger diameter than my OceanMaster heaver, rated at the same line and lure weights, and that rod is a graphite/fiberglass composite. I use a Fish N Mate cart and the rod sticks in the rod holders because the butt is so large. It only has 7 line guides. My OceanMaster has 9, and my Penn Torque has 10. It lacks the response and sensitivity I expected in a graphite rod. It is at least as heavy as my OceanMaster.
I paired it with an Akios 656CTM, which is a wonderful reel. With the same line/rig/sinker combination my OceanMaster paired with a Penn Squall cast further by more than a little bit. This should not have been the case. The Akios should outcast the Penn every time. I made numerous casts and was consistently disappointed. I tried it with 5 oz., 6 oz., and 8 oz. sinkers plus bait. Nothing worked well. I tried off the ground, pendulum, and John Holden's "Easy Cast". No casting style or sinker combination came close to the distance of my OceanMaster/Penn rig.
The hook retainer is nothing more than a "U" shaped wire held to the rod by what is essentially a rubber band. I don't know how long it will last but my guess is not long.
On the positive side, the fit and finish are fine and the Fuji reel seat and guides are very good. The cork grip feels dense and comfortable.
I bought this rod because of reviews on the web. Had I seen it in person prior to the purchase I would have walked on by. There are better rods out there in the same price range. I'll keep it, and use it when necessary, but I'll never enjoy it as much as I had hoped.

Fantastic Free Float rail! This 13.8" rail provides a superior forward hand grip using a MagPul AFG2. I will admit I was skeptical about spending this much money on a free float hand guard. Upon receiving the unit and installing it on my Spikes Mid-length AR15 all of those skepticism have disappeared! The Hand guard mounts very easily using the factory barrel nut. You can cut/grind down the factory pinned FSB but I decided to replace it with a low profile gas block. The system is seriously ROCK SOLID! It feels like an integral piece of the upper receiver both in the structural sense as well as the aesthetic sense. It is very lightweight compared to other 13" hand guard platforms. The integrated front sight is great! being integrated to the hand guard eliminates the extra weight of a BIUS as well when the sight is folded down it gives the rifle a very pleasing minimalist appeal. The modular rail system allows you to place the rails where you need them and keep the rest of the hand guard as light as possible. Three extra rails are included with the TRX Alpha. I am looking forward to Troy Industries release of the Squid grips for use with the TRX system.

I have three sets of binoculars. Nikon Action 12 X 50 5.5, Bushnell Off Trail 8 X 30, and now this Vanguard Spirit XF 10 X 42.

The numbers.

The first number (10) refers to the magnification, or, how many times closer an object will appear when looking through the binocular compared to looking at the same object with the naked eye. The second number (42) indicates the diameter of the objective lens (the light-gathering lens) in millimeters.

The aperture.

The bigger the lens, the heavier the binocular. While a large lens may provide a brighter image, the compromise is increased size and weight. On the other hand, a compact binocular fits in your pocket quite nicely, but because of its small objective lens size, it will not be as bright, especially in low light conditions such as dawn, dusk, or in the woods.

So, the Vanguard Spirit has a ten power magnification and a 42 mm objective lens. Field of View of 332 feet. Near focus of 6.9 feet and view angle of 6.35 degrees

And again, right in between the other two in the light-gathering lens.

And their weights: 1 lb 3 oz, 1 lb. 10 oz, 2 lb; again the Vanguard Spirit in the middle. But the Vanguard Spirits size makes it easy to carry. (The Nikon is a monster for home use)

The Vanguard Spirit XF does a great job, it is fairly light, and the strap makes it easy to carry.

The bigger lens caps stay connected to the binoculars which I love.

It is a really terrific set of binoculars and a real bonus is that it is waterproof and fog proof so it makes a great hiking pair of binoculars.
